Part 2 of my series of threads of "Apex Legends is adding X but not this one" where the main game can learn a few things from the mobile version of the game.
Heirlooms and Mythic Skins are the rarest and most expensive cosmetics in Apex Legends costing around $160 during the collection event or $500 guaranteed through apex packs. For how expensive these things are, you should be getting more out of it.
Heirloom Upgrades
Recently, Apex Legends mobile added a customizable and upgradable heirloom starting with their exclusive legend Fade. It has two forms where you can upgrade to a better looking one. You can also change the skin or color of the heirloom. The Apex mobile heirloom also gives more cosmetics other than the banner pose which includes an animated banner frame, emote and a holospray. Newer heirlooms in the main version of the game should implement this with at least changeable colors of the effects.

Mythic Skins
- These skins should be reactive skins where they change in-game. Maybe you can have tier 2 of the skin when you have 3 kills then go to the tier 3 skin when you have 5 kills just like the reactive weapons in the battlepass.
- You paid $160 for this one skin, you shouldn't have to grind 100k damage just to get all tiers of the skins.
- The mythic skins doesn't even give you a banner pose but only a special finisher.
Current mythic skins in the game:
Overwatch 2's mythic skin costs $10 included in the battlepass. You can customize the sword, the tattoos, color and even the mask of the skin.
