Why is my profile not showing on LinkedIn? ›

In order to see your full profile, visitors may need to log in to their LinkedIn accounts. The Articles & Activity setting toggle will not be present if you haven't made any post. Disabling your public profile hides your public profile from non-LinkedIn members or search engine results.

Appearing in search results indicates that your profile and professional information are visible to other LinkedIn users who are searching for specific skills, keywords, job titles, or other criteria that align with your profile.

If you want to be indexed by search engines: Turn on Your profile's public visibility in your public profile settings. Invite and connect with at least one connection. Add additional sections and information to your profile.

If their profile is no longer accessible or appears hidden, it could be another sign that you have been blocked. Remember, they could have changed their privacy settings or deactivated their account.

So how do you know if they aren't in your network you will see "LinkedIn Member" as the profile name. This pop up will show when searching on LinkedIn that "You don't have access to this profile" The profiles of members who are outside your network have limited visibility.
