Hello all! Does anyone know of any places where I can print wallet size photos that do not all have to be the same? Like at walgreens, you get a set of 4 wallets, all the same photo. I want a set of 4 different photos to use in a 6x6 mini. I used to be able to do this at walmart, but I can't here anymore. the option is 2 wallets of the same photo. I don't have a color printer or I would try printing them myself so I need somewhere online. I don't mind paying shipping in this case.
Thanks!!

Try scrpabookpictures dot com. You can print any photo in virtually any size. I use them ALL the time. The turnaround time is great and the quality is fabulous!

I do this quite a bit. I open up a program like Publisher. Although others can probably tell u other programs to use. Open up a 4x6 (regular picture size) document. Insert each picture into that document. They can be up to 3x4 which is about wallet size. I have found even among professional portraits, wallet sizes vary.
Anyway, after you insert each picture onto the 4x6 document, save it as you would any other picture file and you are set.
Hope that helps.

I do this, but using Picasa's collage feature.

I use Picasa collage, or the printer/developer collage feature.
Walgreens has a collage print (although it's a little more expensive than a standard print).

When I want wallet prints, I choose the collage option at Snapfish. You can put 2 pictures on the 4x6 size and they come out to be right around the size of a wallet picture, plus it's only $.09!

Those are great ideas!
My HP photo printer (A320) will print 2 different pics on 1 4x6 piece of photo paper. The printer was really inexpensive and the ink is not too bad either. Having my own printer has come in handy many times when I just need 1 or 2 pics or want the wallet size prints, but I still order prints online.

Awesome ideas from all of you! Thank you so much!! I will probably check out some collage options because I don't have publisher (I wish I did, love that progra) or any other photo editing software. Thanks again!!

The Kodak machine at my CVS allows you to do this. If I remember correctly, it is under the Collage option.

I too use the collage feature either at CVS instant kiosk thingee, or on Walgreens one hour pick up.
I sometimes will do the photo editing thing, but I use a program that just came on my computer, part of Microsoft Office, called Microsoft Photo It. It just offers basic photo editing, but will let you do the two 2x3 on a 4x6 layout. Might want to check to see if your computer has any built in programs like that you could use. But honestly, I after I discovered the collage feature at the printing places, it's easier just to do them!

I use Photosheet to put multiple pics on a 4x6 print. You can make them all different or all the same. You can download it for free from http://www.photility.com
I use photosheet all the time for scrapbooking. I like four 2x3's, or six 2x2's, or two 3x4's on a 4x6. I save them to my SD card & get them printed at walmart for the same price as a regular 4x6 print. HTH!Sep '11Hotroding Scrapbooker

What about making a 4x6 collage print at Walgreens. The pictures are about the same size as a wallet and you can chose different prints.
I've been using this tip lately when printing pictures for scrapbooking. Now I can fit more pictures into my LOs with one focal picture and additional small ones.
Thank you to whoever gave this tip originally!

Ummmm... I think I've been missing out on something I've just been downsizing a photo in PSE and then printing it on one side of 4x6 photo paper and then turning the paper around and printing another downsized photo on the other side. Seems just slightly cumbersome now that I know about the collage feature on Picasa. Anyone know if there's a collage feature on PSE? Think I should get Picasa in addition?

All great ideas ladies, thank you. I will check out photility and the collage features. I really needed some more ideas I just wasn't even considering that you could make a collage on a 4x6 print.

Sometimes, you just need a good whack upside the head to see the obvious!
I needed one when I was trying to figure out how to put a gate on my feed barn. I thought on it for DAYS and just couldn't figure it out. About a week later, one of the neighbor boys was helping me unload feed and saw the gates. I told him I couldn't figure out how to attach them so the horses couldn't reach over. He looked at me and said, turn them sideways and attach them on their bottom side. A trip to HD and 30 minutes later, they were on.

I've never thought about making a collage on a 4x6 sized print. I really need to start doing that so I, too, can use them on my layouts with a larger focus pic.
Thanks, everyone!
