This is one of three missions that can be completed in any order, with the other twomissions The Trial of Lake Valor andThe Trial of Lake Verity. All threequests inPokémon Legends: Arceus will reward players with an item required to eventually form the Red Chain.
Tounlock The Trial of Lake Acuitymission, playersmust choose either Adamanor Irida at the end of Disaster Looming. Depending on the leader chosen, they will accompany the player throughout the three lake missions. For this mission, players should travel toAlabaster Icelands and visit the Northern part of Lake Acuity. Players will learn that the entrance to the cavern is being guarded by thePokémonUxie. Uxie is a Psychic-type Legendary Pokémon that floats and has a small white body and large yellow head adorned with a red crystal.

The best way to reach Lack Acuity is to use a flying mount in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Once players arrive, they will approach the guarded cavern, and they will receive a notification indicatingthey can now enterAcuity Cavern. Once players enter, they will immediately face an Alpha Zoroark that they will need to defeat. This is an imposingly large white and red Pokémon covered in fur. Alpha Zoroark is level 58 and a Normal-Ghost type Pokémon, so players should bring Dark-typePokémon for this fight as that is the only type Alpha Zoroark is weak to. Players should also use hard-hitting moves, like Crunch. In addition, players should avoid bringing Psychic-type and Ghost-typePokémon that Alpha Zoroark has an advantage over. Of note, while battling the Alpha Pokémon, players can also attempt to catch it inPokémon Legends: Arceus.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus: Uxie's Riddle And The Red Chain
After players successfully win the battle against the enemyAlpha Zoroark, thePokémonUxie will appear. The Uxie will ask players "Combee. Zubat. Unown. Magneton. Dusclops. How many are their eyes?" The correct response is60131 becauseCombee has three faces with two eyes per face, for a total of six. Zubat is a trick question because they have no eyes. All forms of Unown have one eye, and Magneton are just three Magnemite together, eachwith one eye, so Magneton has three eyes.The final Pokémon in the riddle, Dusclops, has a single eye.
When players give the correct answer of 60131 to Uxie in Pokémon Legends: Arceus,they will be given the itemUxie’s Claw. This item is the third partrequired for the Red Chain. Once players have acquired Uxie's Claw, they can visit theShrouded Ruins with Mistress Cogita. Once there,the three Pokémon of the lakes appear and forge the Red Chain.Additionally, players will discover that Commander Kamado intendsto climb Mount Coronet. Players will then need to travel to Jubilife Village andspeak to Professor Laverton, Akira or Rei, and Captain Cyllene. Players will then be given their rank and instructed to begin their next mission atMount Coronet, aptly named Atop Mount Coronet.
