There were 3.4 million claims with entitlement to PIP (caseload) as at 30 April 2024, a 3% increase on the number as at 31 January 2024. Of these: 2.1 million claims are new and 1.3 million are DLA reassessments. 31,000 (1%) were registered under SREL though the majority (99%) were under normal rules.
