Emirates is committed to environmental stewardship and focusses on three areas:
- Reducing emissions
- Consuming responsibly
- Preserving wildlife and habitats
In line with these efforts, we are implementing the IATA Environmental Assessment (IEnvA) system, a comprehensive environmental management system that covers our flight operations, corporate activities and an illegal wildlife trade module that supports our commitment.
The Environmental Sustainability Executive Steering Group meets regularly to set direction and review progress at a corporate level.
At a working-group level, various internal committees meet regularly to co-ordinate and implement sustainability actions.
Our goal is to reduce our environmental impact and become a leader in sustainable aviation practices.
