The best part about this Marshmallow playdough recipe is that it tastes just as sweet as it smells. And while I know we’ve all spent countless hours telling our kids not to eat playdough or put things in their mouth, this is one time when you don’t have to worry about it.

And adding in candy fish is sure to delight your children.

This simple recipe will teach you how to make marshmallow playdough and your kids will love that it is such soft playdough to enjoy. Who knew that you could create a craft and a snack all at the same time? (Plus, this playdough recipe is no cook so it literally takes no time at all!)

And no cream of tartar is needed. I know some of you love that.

How to Make Dr. Seuss Marshmallow Playdough

Supplies:

Start by placing the marshmallows in a small microwave safe bowl, and add in 3 tablespoons of corn starch and the coconut oil.

Once you’ve done that, take it and place it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Once done, take out and add 3-4 drops of yellow food coloring. Mix until all the corn starch is incorporated.

Add 2 more tablespoons of cornstarch and knead with your hands. (This is a good step for the kids to help with!)

If it’s still a little sticky, add a tad bit more cornstarch until it’s no longer sticky
and pliable. But don’t add too much. Slowly add so you can add in more as you need.

You should now have a smooth and shiny playdough ball. Yay! It’s time to start having fun!

Marshmallow Edible Playdough Recipe

This is such a fun recipe. Have fun creating this marshmallow edible playdough recipe!

Ingredients

  • 6 Large Marshmallows
  • 5-6 Tbsp Corn Starch (Divided)
  • ½ Tbsp Coconut Oil
  • Yellow & Blue Food Coloring
  • Candy Fish Sweet Tarts

Instructions

  1. Place Marshmallows in a small size bowl, add 3 tablespoons of corn starch and the coconut oil.

  2. Place in microwave for 30 seconds, take out and add 3-4 drops of yellow food coloring. Mix until all the corn starch is incorporated. Add 2 more tablespoons of cornstarch and knead with your hands.
