As of October 2023, the number of employees in the United States information sector totaled over three million people, representing one of the highest values over the last years although still lower than at the same time in the previous year.

Google's employee count stands at 182,502, according to the latest data from the fourth quarter of 2023. This figure shows a slight decrease compared to the previous count of 182,381.
