Lee described an experiment in which 50 healthy female prisoners were selected and given poisoned cabbage leaves. All of the women were required to eat the cabbage, despite cries of distress from those who had already eaten. All 50 died after 20 minutes of vomiting blood and anal bleeding.

Mothers who have given birth to triplets and quadruplets are given gifts. Silver knives are given for boys, and gold rings are given to the mothers. Clothes, nutritious food and blankets are also given as gifts and receive further subsidies and care from an assigned medical worker until school age.
