How to Fix No Location Found on iPhone
Why would an iPhone show the wrong location? There can be many reasons ranging from not having cellular service to needing to update your iPhone software. If the location accuracy on your iPhone is off, try these initial fixes before checking the settings below.
First, install any iPhone software updatesand available app updates for apps that aren't showing the correct location. You can alsoclose appsshowing the wrong location and thenopen them again. If this hasn't worked,turn Airplane Mode onfor a minute, then turn it off again. Once you've checked these settings, ensure you have enabled Location Services in youriPhone location settings.

1. Enable Precise Location
In order for your location to show correctly, any app on your iPhone needs access to Location Services. In addition to knowing how to allow location for apps on your iPhone, you'll also need to allow Precise Location for certain apps. - Open the Settings app, and scroll down to Privacy & Security.
- Tap Location Services.
- Find the app that is displaying the wrong location. For this example, we'll open the Maps app.
- Ensure the Precise Location toggle is enabled.

2. Fix Your Date & Time Settings
The date and time on your device can affect other settings, so it's important to keep it correct. The best way to do that is to make sure the Set Automatically toggle is enabled. Find out how tomanually set the time on iPhone.
3. Reset Location & Privacy Settings
If your location is not available on youriPhone, or just not updating to your new location, resetting Location & Privacy settings may fix the location on your iPhone or iPad. To do this:
- Open the Settings app and tap General.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and tap Transfer orReset iPhone.
- Tap Reset.
- Tap Reset Location & Privacy.
- Enter your passcode to confirm, then tap Reset one more time.

4. Restore Your iPhone from an iCloud or iTunes Backup
