New shortcuts to access Rectangle and shortcuts list (2024)
In a move to help you save time, we have added new, highly-requested hotkeys for quick access to chart features — first of all, to the Rectangle drawing tool.
Instead of manually selecting Rectangle in the shapes list, you can just use the keyboard shortcut Alt+Shift+R (Windows) or ⌥⇧R (Mac). Rectangle will be selected in the toolbar automatically, ready to be placed on the chart.
This hotkey is one of many that are aimed at making your work process smoother and more comfortable. To see all of them, you can click Keyboard shortcuts in the chart’s main menu, but we have added one more helpful key combination allowing you to quickly access the list of all hotkeys: just press Ctrl + / (Windows) or Cmd + / (Mac).
We hope this small update will facilitate your charting and market analysis. Keep sharing your feedback and suggestions; it’s what helps us improve the platform.
