Who can get a Neo Mastercard®?
You need to live in Canada, have a Canadian photo ID, and be the age of majority in your province to apply for the Neo Mastercard®.
What is the cashback amount and how do rewards work?
Our cashback amounts are tied to your Everyday balance. For example, earn 2% on gas and groceries, with an additional 0.5% on all other spend when you have $3,000 in your Everyday account. Use the calculator above to see how your Everyday balance rate impacts your cashback rates.
How can I redeem my cashback rewards?
You can redeem cashback rewards in a few ways. You can reduce the balance in your credit account, add the cashback to your Neo Everyday account, or redeem it for merchandise at the Neo Store.
How do I track my cashback rewards?
You can track your cashback rewards in your Rewards Wallet.
Do all purchases qualify for cashback rewards?
You can earn cashback on the vast majority of your purchases online and in-store, but purchases such as gambling or cryptocurrency will be declined and won’t earn cashback.
Can I have more than one cashback credit card?
Yes, you can have more than one cashback credit card with Neo. You can apply for multiple Neo credit cards to access different rewards programs.
What is the Purchase Credit Rate / APR?
The Purchase Credit Rate on the Neo Mastercard® is 19.99%-29.99% and the Cash Advance Rate is 22.99%-31.99%. For Quebec, the Purchase Credit Rate is 19.99%-24.99% and the Cash Advance Rate is 22.99%-25.99%. The standard rate on purchases and cash advances is dependent on our assessment of your credit application, credit profile, and your province. See your Cardholder Agreement and Disclosure Statement at time of application for your specific rate.
Do I have to pay fees?
There are no monthly fees for the Neo Mastercard®. The secured Neo Mastercard® has a monthly fee of $5.
What credit limits are available?
You can get up to a $10,000 credit limit if you’re approved for it. Credit limits are flexible and start as low as $500, subject to approval.
