My phone charger not working
"Phone not charging?
There are several reasons why your phone may not charge. The cable, charger, socket or adapter may be faulty. Dirt and debris may have accumulated in the charging port. There may be an app installed that is interrupting the charging process. Maybe a software update is required.
If you are having issues with your charger please try the following
1 - Check battery & charger
Remove any case on the device, as this may impede the charger/port connection
Ensure the charging cable is not only fitting snug in the device, but also the cable is fitting snug into the charger.
It will take approximately 15-20 minutes with the supplied charger to charge the device to a minimal level to power the device back on.
Do not use the charger connected to a USB Port as the charging rate is much lower and could take a few hours to charge the device to a minimal level.
2- Force Reboot your Phone
In the unlikely event that your device becomes unresponsive, try a force reboot.
Press and hold the power key for 10 seconds to perform a force reboot on the device.
Tips:
- Data on your phone will not be deleted
- If reboot was not successful you should attempt the reboot while connected to a wall charger.
If the issue remains unresolved kindly visit the nearest authorized service centre.
