Miyoko’s Liquid Mozzarella review:
Overall, we were surprised by how much we liked the taste of the Miyoko’s liquid cheese. We also think it would be fun for other varieties to come out like cheddar or gouda.
It was also super easy to use. While discussing price, we did mention that while it’s more expensive for most people compared to a bag of vegan shreds, you are getting more out of it per serving which means that it’s cheaper per serving.
Since Miyoko’s product are typically more expensive per serving because of their smaller company, organic ingredients, and clean ingredient list, we were happy to see that change for them.
Being honest, it wasn’t our favorite product ever. We may buy it again in the future, but it wouldn’t be our first choice.
We do think that there is a lot of room for error which is one reason why. The product calls for about ¼ cup of liquid cheese per 10″ pizza; however, when we did that we found it light and lacking and would have liked more of a mouth feel and taste of the cheese coming through. Same when we tried the same amount for our nachos.
It does brown and it does bubble, which is also nice. Lastly, there’s no gummy feeling or sticky feeling like many vegan cheese products have. Larisha did feel as though it was a bit gritty, but Andrew said he didn’t feel that.
We hope this information helps you make an informed decision on Miyoko’s Creamery Liquid Mozzarella.

I have used Miyoko’s liquid mozzarella in several recipes. It’s a little different since it’s already a liquid. It seems to work best mixed in like a bechamel. I used it with Follow Your Heart shreds in a baked rigatoni and roasted eggplant dish. It’s great in lasagna aswell.
