The event was established in 1990 and takes place in Cannes, France. Self-described as the global urban festival, MIPIM says the four-day real estate event, taking place from 12 - 15 March in 2024, gathers "the most influential players from all sectors of the international property industry."

The MIPIM, acronym for Marché International des Professionnels de l'Immobilier (International Market of Real Estate Professionals), takes place every year at the Palais des Congrès et des Festivals in Cannes, just 15km from the Mouratoglou Hotel & Spa.
