Description[]
The Military Base is a tower that spawns various military-themed vehicles. It can be bought in the store for 2,500. Levels 0-3 will spawn Humvees of varying strength, level 4 will spawn a Tank, and level 5 will spawn a Railgun Tank.
Periodically, the Military Base will spawn a unit at the end of the path, with regular intervals between each spawn. It will head towards the start of the path until it gets destroyed. If it reaches the spawn, it will naturally be destroyed.
For the first two upgrades, the main purpose of this tower is to deal direct damage through a collision to enemies (Humvee and Humvee 2). After Level 3, the unit itself (Humvee 3) can deal damage through ranged weapons with the addition of dealing splash damage when destroyed added at Level 4 and 5 (Tank and Railgun Tank). The explosion is separated into two spheres. Enemies in the inner sphere will be dealt 100% of the stated damage, while the damage in the outer sphere is decreased linearly. Its splash damage deals full damage to enemies with defense. The ranged weapons do not have hidden detection, but the splash damage can unintentionally hit hidden enemies. There is also a limit of five Military Bases per player to prevent lag.

Strategy[]
- A few Humvee 2s can easily take out hordes of early game enemies.
- The Military Base can be an effective counter for enemies with defense, like the Giant Boss and Templar, as they deal full damage when colliding with these enemies.
- The damage from its cannon also deals full damage to defense enemies. However, the gun damage is still affected.
- It is best advised to place the tower away from the main path as it has no use close to it.
- While the units that the Level 3+ Military Base spawns cannot detect Hiddens or Shadows with its ranged weapons, they can collide with them. The enemies can also be harmed if they are caught in the cannon explosion radius.
- If you plan to get multiple Railgun Tanks, then you will need the Farm or Cowboy to boost your income as the Railgun Tanks are not cheap.
- You can also use the DJ Booth to lower the upgrade costs of the Military Base. Make sure it is within the range of the tower itself.
- The Electroshocker, Frost Blaster and Freezer pairs well with the Military Base as they slow down enemies before colliding with units, allowing the units to survive for longer.
- The Military Base is very useful against some major bosses as they cannot be stunned.
- However, some enemies can deal damage to units with their attacks. For example, the Void Reaver can instantly destroy all units with its Void Stomp attack.
- This is not recommended if you want to activate the Hidden Wave due to the long spawn rate between units.
- The Military Base is not recommended for short maps, such as Dead Ahead, as their long spawn rate makes them more ineffective.
- In two-pathed maps, only one unit spawns as opposed to two. This vehicle will go down a random path.
- DJ Booth and the Commander cannot boost range or firerate of the any of the units, respectively.
- Units spawned by the Military Base are ineffective against flying and ghost enemies as they cannot detect nor collide with them.
- However, they can be very effective against lead enemies since they can collide with them.
Trivia[]
- The Military Base is inspired by Tower Battle's Patrol.
- The Military Base is currently the 4th most expensive tower to max out.
- The Level 5 Military Base upgrade is the most expensive upgrade in the game.
- The Military Base can potentially lag and slow down the server if the user that placed them down is lagging. In extreme cases, you can expect a bunch of slow-moving units and possibly even frozen units at the end of the path.
- The range of the Level 0-2 Military Base units is 5, but the actual tower has a range of 3.
- Before the Overhaul Update, they had the same range.
- While the spawn rate of the Military Base can be boosted by a Commander (so that the spawn time between units is reduced), it is through an unconventional method. The stated buff is subtracted from the spawn rate (an example is a 25% buff on a Level 5 Military Base; the spawnrate will decrease from 40 to 39.75).
- As 39.75 seconds rounds up to 40 seconds, there is no noticeable decrease in spawn time.
- Interestingly, the Commander's Call to Arms ability reduces the spawn rate of units from the Military Base further, but even this buff cannot produce a noticeable decrease in spawn rate.
- As 39.75 seconds rounds up to 40 seconds, there is no noticeable decrease in spawn time.
- Currently, the spawnrate change is not shown for the Military Base's upgrade description.
- Because of this, the Level 1 upgrade description is empty.
