I have been having issues with items not appearing on my phone and Mac. Then I realised I had two vaults. My primary (iCloud) and personal. So now my passwords are fragmented between the two.
Is there a way to merge the two vaults (without cloning duplicates) either into one vault or into a new vault?
You can move all the contents of one vault in the other, and then have 1Password help you remove duplicates (Help > Tools > Clean Up Duplicate Items)
Just make sure that you end up using just the Personal vault (if you have a 1Password Membership, you get automatic sync with your account, so there is no need to continue using iCloud separately to sync your data ;) ).
That's one of the reasons why I still love the internet - if you have a problem and are able to formulate it precisely enough you'll get pages like this one which solved my problem as well. Thanks @ag_ana
Google led me to this thread when I had the same question as the original poster. Do I understand correctly that I could safely DELETE the "Primary (iCloud)" vault, now that I have a subscription and my "Personal" vault is synced? Or is that a bad idea?
If all your data is in your Personal vault already, and it is syncing that way, we recommend removing the old Primary vault so you don't have duplicates, and you don't end up storing items in the wrong vault by mistake. Just make sure that you don't need anything from there anymore, and then feel free to remove it from the app ;)
The only supported method to combine Vault databases from multiple Servers is to export the data and files from one server and import it to the other server. Vault's Data Transfer Utility (DTU) does exactly this while retaining, File, and Item version history and all the account information associated with it.
Click its three-vertical-dots icon and choose “Reveal vault in system explorer”. This will open Windows' File Explorer. Right-click your vault folder in File Explorer and choose Copy. You'll need a USB flash drive so that you can paste this folder and transfer it to your new PC.
Building two or three of the same type of room next to each other will merge them into a bigger version of the room. Rooms must be the same level in order to be merged together. Merged rooms can hold more Dwellers within them so they can produce more resources for your Vault.
Most rooms can also be merged up to three times by placing an identical room of the same tier next to it. Generally, each room can facilitate two Dwellers. Merged rooms may be occupied by up to 6 Dwellers.
Obsidian Sync makes this easier by letting you sync your local vault with a remote vault that lives on Obsidian's servers. You can connect multiple local vaults to your remote vault.
To move an item, drag it to a different vault in the sidebar. Or right-click the item, click Move, then select a vault. If you don't see the vault you want to drag an item to in the sidebar, and you have more than one account, click your account or collection at the top of the sidebar and choose All Accounts.
There are five Vaults in the base version of Fallout 4, with two more later being added as part of the game's Far Harbor and Vault-Tec Workshop DLC expansions.
The "paste" command combines the contents of "file1" and "file2" into a single file, with each line of each file separated by a tab character. If you want to add the contents of more than two files, simply add the names of the additional files to the command.
