How do I check my UnitedHealthcare benefits? ›

Sign in to your member account to manage your benefits, see your claims and account balances, print your health plan ID card and more using tools made for members. Download the UnitedHealthcare® app to view your benefits, health plan ID card and more easily from your mobile device.

A unique 7 digit number is assigned internally to each insured member (student, spouse, child, etc.) in our system. This is referred to as the StudentResources ID Number (SRID). This number is used to properly identify a member, their claims, and their inquiries via Customer Service.

The Group Number is the policy number in UnitedHealthcare Insurance card.

For balance inquiries you can use any of the following: OTC Network member portal, OTC Network mobile app, or call the number on the back of your OTC Network card.

Retroactive Denials

Some reasons why you might have a retroactive denial include having a claim that was paid during the second or third month of a grace period or having a claim paid for a service for which you were not eligible.

UnitedHealthcare Community Plan generally completes the review within 30 calendar days. However, depending on the nature of the review, a decision may take up to 60 days from the receipt of the claim dispute documentation. We'll contact you if we believe it will take longer than 30 days to render a decision.

Member ID number: Each member has a unique member ID number linked to their specific health insurance benefits and coverage. Group number: This number is the same for everyone who participates in that insurance plan. PCP name: Primary Care Provider. Some plans require members to choose a primary care provider (PCP).
