Give more to community is a naive advice. Theoretically, yes. But practically, giving away makes financial sense only when the entity subsidizing this—a.k.a. you, not the community—will reap the ultimate reward: the network.(Arbitrum, Starknet, Layer zero airdrops)Subsidization explains why independent founders can’t compete with VC-backed projects. Community-driven projects are always short in funding compared to portcos of venture capitalists. At some point, they can not outcompete larger networks who burn cash to roll out new features to better capture the market. Not to mention black swan events and regular market drawdowns. So maybe low float/high FDV tokens is a necessary evil? Different question is how come we consider big crypto any different from big tech? Are these networks just same old corporate networks in disguise?
