Manage your rates and discounts (2024)

Overview

• Edit your nightly base (default) rate through the Calendar section of your Vrbo account. Your default base rate was entered when you first listed your property.
• Apply a base long-stay discount for weekly or monthly stays (7+ nights or 28+ nights).
• ​Override your base rate or discount for specific dates in your calendar without impacting your default settings.

Note: Adjustments you make to your rates don’t apply to upcoming reservations that have already been accepted or confirmed.

Edit your base rate or discount

Note: Your base rate can be the same amount every night or differ for certain nights of the week.

1. Log in to your Vrbo account.
2. Go to your Owner Dashboard.
3. If you have more than one listing, select the one you want to edit.
4. In the navigation menu, select Calendar.
5. Select Settings, then select Base rates and discounts.
6. Enter your desired base rate.
   • Optional: customize your rates by night of the week.
7. Enter your base Weekly and Monthly discount %.
   • Leave the field empty if you don’t want to offer a long-stay discount.
8. Select Save

Note: Changing your base rate or discount won’t affect days you’ve overridden with specific rate/discount rules.

Override your base rate or discount

You can offer a different nightly rate or discount for a specific day or date range.

1. Log in to your Vrbo account.
2. Go to your Owner Dashboard.
3. If you have more than one listing, select the one you want to edit.
4. In the navigation menu, select Calendar.
5. Select the dates you want to override.
6. In the ‘Manage dates’ panel, select Rates and discounts.
7. Under ‘Rates’ enter your desired nightly rate.
8. Under ‘Discounts’ enter your desired weekly and monthly discount %.
   • If you don’t want to offer a discount, enter ‘0’ in the corresponding fields.
9. Select Save.

Note: You can apply your adjusted rate or discount to the same dates for the following year.
