What is the storage limit for OneDrive for Business? ›

Storage up to 25 TB/user is provisioned in OneDrive for Business. Beyond 25 TB, storage is provisioned as 25 TB SharePoint team sites to individual users.

Additionally, the maximum file size (individual file) that can be uploaded to OneDrive for Business is 250 GB. If you exceed this limit, you will receive an error message.

OneDrive is for personal use, providing free storage, cross-device accessibility, enhanced sharing, and robust security. OneDrive for Business offers advanced collaboration features, comprehensive control over documents, wide accessibility, and integration with third-party applications.

On the OneDrive page click the Settings (gear) icon in the upper right, then select OneDrive Settings. On the OneDrive settings page, select the More Settings tab then select Storage Metrics.

Once the sync is complete, right-click the files and folders you want to be online only and choose Clear space to remove the files from your computer.
