Lootboxes contain Gems that can be used to enhance Hunting. Lootboxes can be obtained from claiming Daily, Votes, Quests, leveling up Profiles, and a 5% chance to get one out of three each day from random hunts (first hunt will always give you one), as a player's Checklist will show.

You can only open 100 lootboxes max at a time with the mass open command.

There are also fabled lootboxes (which can't be obtained from lootboxes), and have a 100% chance to give Fabled Gems. The only way to get them is when there are compensations. You can open them with the command

**Lootboxes are the only way you can get Gems.

Lootboxes and gems aren't able to be bought from the shop, because there isn't a type of currency used specifically for them and cowoncy is pretty easy to be obtained.
