Legion Raids are endgame PvE content in Lost Ark. In it, you face off against the full might of the Demon Legion Commanders and their forces.

Gameplay[ | ]
- There are one (Kakul-Saydon) or two (Valtan / Vykas / Brelshaza / Akkan / Thaemine) teams of 4 players each.
- There are no revives possible during the fight.
- The boss' health bar is visible.
- Each gate has its own rewards and chest and can be completed independently with a different group, though a player cannot enter a gate until all previous gates are completed.
- Chests can be claimed, until the next weekly reset, outside of the Legion Raid in the respective UI.
- After 6 characters have looted gold rewards, the other characters can choose to claim the 'View More Rewards' in the UI of the cleared raids for free. Legion Raid free 'View More Rewards' is restricted to 3 times per character.
- Each character can clear each legion raid once per week. The normal and hard modes for the same gate on the same Raid share the same weekly lock down per character.
- Currently, all Legion Raids do not have a maximum item level for gold.
- Each character can choose to receive or not to receive gold rewards before entering a raid. Even if they decide not to claim the gold rewards, the other rewards (such as honing materials and Legion Raid Gear crafting materials) can still be earned.
- Legion Raids are considered as "end-game content". Each character can earn gold rewards from 3 end-game content per week. This limit is shared with "end-game content" Abyss Dungeons.
- Brelshaza Gate 0 can be skipped by the raid leader, teleporting the group directly from Astalgia's Door to Nightmare Shadow.
Inferno difficulty[ | ]
- "Scale of Balance" is applied, and the raid requires use of the Book of Coordination, so everyone's gear is normalized against the level of your Legion Commander opponent.
- The gate progression system is not active, all gates have to be completed in one sitting.
- Inferno mode does not count against the weekly attempt limit for Legion Raids. A player can play on Normal/Hard and Inferno in the same week, and try Inferno as many times as they'd like.
- Previously removed gates (namely Vykas Gate 1) are still present in Inferno mode.
- Brelshaza inferno only contains both end gates (previously Gate 5 and 6).
- Inferno rewards: titles, achievements, Stronghold structures. An in-game vendor is available for players to access a variety of prestigious rewards, earned after various numbers of clears.
- The deathless clear title is granted for clearing all gates of the raid without anyone in the raid dying.

Thaemine the First[ | ]
- The First is a special difficulty for Thaemine. It started on April 20th, 2024 (10 AM PT / 5 PM UTC).[1]
- It features 2 gates (Gate 3 and 4 in Hard mode) in their original unnerfed difficulty.
- To enter The First players must clear Thaemine Hard Gate 4 beforehand and be at item 1630 or above.
- Each roster can enter the raid once every 2 weeks, with gate progress bound to the character that cleared the first gate. Remaining gates can be progressed only on the difficulty level that was cleared.
- When a Gate has been cleared, players can reset the progress by using the 'Gate Reset' feature. When a Gate is reset, all progress on Gate 1 is reset and the player can either select a different difficulty and try the raid again, or players can enter the raid with a different character.
- Rewards are granted after clearing the two gates.

Extreme Mode[ | ]
- The Extreme version of a Legion Raid has the same mechanics as Inferno difficulty but without the normalized gear.
- Players can enter through the Legion Raid entry UI by clicking the 'Extreme' button, and the corresponding Party Finder sections have been added to the UI.
- Each roster can enter the raid once every 2 weeks, with gate progress bound to the character that cleared the first gate. Remaining gates can be progressed only on the difficulty level that was cleared.
- When a Gate has been cleared, players can reset the progress by using the 'Gate Reset' feature. When a Gate is reset, all progress on Gate 1 is reset and the player can either select a different difficulty and try the raid again, or players can enter the raid with a different character.
- First-time-clear rewards are given upon clearing all gates, along with rewards on each clear or reclear. Gold can be obtained regardless of the character being designated to earn Gold or not upon clearing. Reward opportunity resets every 2 weeks.
- Extreme Valtan is available on the following weeks:
- February 7th, 2024 (after maintenance) - February 21st, 2024 (before maintenance)

Practice Mode[ | ]
- Kakul-Saydon, Brelshaza, and Akkan feature a practice/special mode, an easier version of the raid where players can practice the mechanics of the raid.
- Practice and Normal/Hard Modes share a weekly lockout per character. A character that clears Practice Mode first will not be able to do Normal/Hard Mode that week. Each Practice Mode can be done once per roster per week.
- Once a player has completed Normal/Hard Mode in a given week they can no longer clear Pratice Mode that week on any character.
- Doing Normal/Hard Mode first will grant the rewards that would have been obtained in Pratice Mode, in addition to all of the Normal/Hard Mode rewards.

Sidereals[ | ]
- Each Legion Raid has a set of 3 sidereal abilities that are used to help the players during the fight.
- These can only be used by the raid leader and when the sidereal bar is full. The default shortcut is

for Sidereal 1, 2, or 3 respectively. The bar fills up when meeting certain conditions during boss battles and passively over time. - These sidereal abilities need to be aimed.

Procyon's Protection buff is available up to Vykas Hard mode. Players benefiting from the Mokoko Challenge buff will not have Procyon's Protection.
