Before I say anything, let me just tell you: I get it, and I agree flirting is exhausting. If the world were perfect, we’d be able to tell people we liked them telepathically.
But unfortunately, we have to resort to actually speaking to people and trying to figure out if they’re interested in us too. Thankfully, texting makes it all just a little bit easier.
Flirting over text is great for so many reasons—one of them being that you can be a bit bolder than if you were having a face-to-face conversation. (Plus, your love interest can’t see you freakout when they also reciprocate with a flirty text.)
And while punny pick-up lines and cutesy memes are great to send, texting with emojis is especially the move—mainly because there's lots of versatility with them. Not only can you send a horny emoji and a specific heart emoji to indicate your feelings, but you can also send flirty ones too.
