Is there a limit to how much money I can send or receive? ›
There isn't a law that limits the amount of money you can send or receive. However, financial institutions and money transfer providers often have daily transaction limits. This depends entirely on the establishment.
Can I send $5000 through Zelle? ›Sending limits usually range from $500 to $5,000 per day and $10,000 to $20,000 per month, though some banks may allow you to increase your limits. If your bank wasn't on our list, you can typically confirm your Zelle transaction limits through your online banking account or by calling your bank.
How much money can you transfer in one transaction? ›– RTGS transfer limits
There's a minimum limit of Rs. 2 lakhs for RTGS transactions, and there's no maximum limit as such. To get an RTGS-enabled account, you can either contact your bank or check your eligibility status in your online banking portal.
If your bank or credit union offers Zelle®, please contact them directly to learn more about their sending and receiving limits through Zelle®. If your bank or credit union does not yet offer Zelle®, your weekly send limit is $500 and your weekly receive limit is $5,000 in the Zelle® app.

Post activation of a beneficiary, Rs. 50,000 (in full or parts) can be transferred for the first 24 hours. An added beneficiary, to whom no funds are transferred for more than 24 months, is treated as a new beneficiary in all respects. A maximum of 7 beneficiaries can be added/modified/deleted in a period of 24 hours.
