Is Salad healthy for my PC? (Yes!) Contrary to common opinion, consumer Graphics Cards (GPUs) and CPUs are designed to run at peak performance 24/7, and Salad won't tax your hardware more than playing Far Cry 5 or Battlefield V would.

GPU: Salad supports most Dedicated GPUs with at least 2GB of VRAM from recent generations. This generally means that GT/GTX 900 series NVIDIA GPUs, and R9 300 series AMD GPUs and up should work. There are a few exceptions to this however on older cards, and some may not work even if meeting the VRAM requirement of 2GB.

When you stop Salad, your PC's performance will go back to normal. Running Salad should not have any long-term noticeable impact on your PC's performance. But if you have decent specs you shouldn't notice any significant performance impact. But don't use it if you have a laptop.

If you have plenty of fresh vegetables in the salad, then you are getting healthy, disease-fighting nutrients. Be mindful of the extra items you add to your vegetable salads, which may be high in saturated fat, sodium, or sugar. You want to include some fat in your salad.

CPU Containers can run safely in the background of while you do most tasks on your machine. For GPU mining and Container Workloads, Salad will fully utilize your Graphics Card (GPU) while running. This means that applications which rely on your GPU may not be able to run smoothly, if at all.

If you're running more programs or bigger files than your RAM, CPU, and disk drive can handle, your computer will run slow.
