If you are looking for free ways to earn cryptocurrency, you have maybe heard about a platform called CryptoTab.
This browser and app claims you can mine cryptocurrency simply by installing their browser and, that way, earn passively.
It’s certainly an interesting offer, but before you use CryptoTab, we have to talk about a few important details.
First of all, is CryptoTab legit or just a scam? Before you join any platform, you have to make sure it is legit and will really pay you, as there are a lot of crypto scams you need to watch out for.
But let me just reveal right away that you can actually potentially earn with the CryptoTab browser. I will also show you payment proof later.
Now, the real question is, is it worth using or not? To answer that, there are a few things we must consider. This CryptoTab review will give details about what CryptoTab has to offer so you will know exactly what to expect before you even join.
This will be a real user review, and in the end, I will also give my recommendations, as there are some important details you need to consider before joining.

What is CryptoTab, and what does it offer?
CryptoTab browser is a web browser that is designed to mine cryptocurrency. It’s a unique browser because it offers an opportunity for you to earn cryptocurrency through mining.
What’s unique about it is, normally, when miners mine cryptocurrency, they use computers that are built for that specific purpose and nothing else, whereas if you use CryptoTab for mining, you can still use your computer to do other stuff.
Now, to fully understand how CryptoTab works and if it will be worth it, we have to take a closer look at the earning opportunities it offers.

Option 1 – Mining
As mentioned above, you can earn from CryptoTab by mining currency. This is actually the main earning opportunity of the platform.
To start mining cryptocurrency, you will have to install the CryptoTab browser. This is the only prerequisite for this earning opportunity.
I just want to make a small warning here that when I installed it, my antivirus program at first blocked it and said it could be harmful.
I am not saying it will necessarily harm your computer but just sharing what warning I got so you know to consider this as well and make your own decision whether this is for you or not.
The browser is powered by Chromium, the same engine Google Chrome uses. So, it won’t feel very different from Chrome. You can also use the same browser extensions.
To start mining, you just have to open the browser and enable the mining feature. Now, you can set the mining speed of the browser to your preference. If you don’t know what this means, then let me elaborate.
If you set the mining speed higher, CryptoTab will be able to mine more cryptocurrency but at a certain cost. Your computer will consume more electricity when you set the speed higher. You will even notice it because you will start to hear your computer’s fans rotate faster.
The computer does this to compensate for the heat that your computer will generate because it will be employing more processing power. So, increasing the mining speed comes with two potential disadvantages. It will consume more electricity, and it can shorten the battery life of the devices you use for this.
That’s why you actually have to find the proper balance when setting the mining speed. You can’t just crank the speed up and expect that your electricity bill won’t change and your computer won’t be affected in the long run.
So, this is just something to think about when choosing your mining speed.
Option 2 – Affiliate program
The other way to earn from CryptoTab is to participate in their affiliate program also called a referral program.
The idea is really simple. You invite people to use CryptoTab using an invite link. When the person clicks the link and downloads CryptoTab, and installs it on their computer or mobile, they will become your referral.
Their affiliate program is 10 levels deep. So, when your referral invites another person to use CryptoTab, and they accept, he or she will become your 2nd level referral and so on and so forth until the 10th level.
That’s how their referral program works, and it is actually quite a generous referral program compared to many others. So, if you know others who might be interested in earning by mining, it definitely can be worth inviting them.
The deeper the referral level, the lower the reward you will receive. Now, as shown in the photo above, for your level 1 referral, you will receive a 15% commission every time your level 1 referral earns using CryptoTab.
The commission will be shouldered by CryptoTab and will not be deducted from your referral’s earnings. It’s a nice way to earn a passive income considering it goes 10 levels deep. But you have to make sure the people you invite are really interested in using CryptoTab.
The downside to this opportunity is that if no one is mining, then you won’t earn.
However, before inviting anyone else, please make sure to read the rest of this review as I have also had some bad experiences with CryptoTab that you really need to know about before you start using it and before you start inviting others.

How do you get paid?
If you were expecting to get paid in cash with CryptoTab, you will be disappointed. You will only earn cryptocurrency from it, specifically Bitcoin. So, if Bitcoin is not your thing, then CryptoTab is not for you.
To withdraw your earnings, you will need to have a cryptocurrency wallet. A good example is Binance, which is one of the platforms I am using myself as a Bitcoin wallet.
Now, before you can withdraw your earnings, you will have to earn at least 0.00001 BTC (which is roughly $0.37 at the time of this writing).
The payout threshold is very low, but that doesn’t necessarily mean you can withdraw your earnings right away (I will discuss why in the next section).
Below, you can see a video where I show exactly how to withdraw, and in it, you can also see CryptoTab payment proof so you can see that CryptoTab actually does pay and that I have been paid by it myself.
However, since recording this video, I have also experienced not getting paid, so you might also run into issues like that, so make sure to read what I also write about this below the video to know some important things to consider before you start earning.
As you can see in the video above, I have been paid by CryptoTab is the past. And I have been paid by it several times.
Therefore, I assumed CryptoTab is real and not fake, and I just let me earnings build up without taking them out for a long time.
In fact, I managed to accumulate more than $200 worth of BTC by using CryptoTab and then decided to redeem.
That is when I suddenly ran into problems. I could withdraw like I had in the past. The problem was just that the BTC never arrived in my wallet because CryptoTab did not process the payment.
Two months went by and I the got the option to reconfirm my withdrawal, which I did. However, still nothing happened.
I then reached out to their support, and all they told me was that sometimes payments can be delayed, but they would try to get it sent asap. However, I kept not getting the payment and wrote the support several more times over a 2-month period, and now they have just stopped replying to my messages.
So, the status at the time of updating this review is that I have not received my payment, and it has been more than 6 months. Therefore, it seems I have lost $200+ on CryptoTab.
I am not saying the same will happen to you, but you need to be aware of the risk. And if you decide to use CryptoTab, I definitely recommend you do not accumulate too much before withdrawing., so in case something similar happens to you, you will not lose as much as I have.
How much money can you make?
The amount of money you can earn from CryptoTab browser will mostly depend on how often you mine how many referrals you can get – and also how many devices you will install it on. But let me be blunt – if you are expecting to become rich like this, you will be disappointed.
It takes quite some time to earn. Exactly how much you can earn will depend a lot on your internet speed and how many devices you install it on. If you only use CryptoTab on one device, it will take quite a lot of patience, so if possible, you should definitely use it on several devices.
So, it’s not an efficient way to earn. But you also do not have to do anything at all to earn, which is the strength of it, in my opinion. And compared to other mining options where you do not have to invest in special equipment, it is actually quite good.
Also, you can supplement your earnings through their referral program because it is ten levels deep. And if you decide to use CryptoTab, this is definitely something I would recommend.
And you can also buy boost packages to increase your earning speed by up to 15 times. This is not something I would necessarily recommend you invest in right away. Instead, I would recommend you test it for about a week with as many devices as possible and then calculate how much you would earn with a boost package and see if it will be profitable.
It is something that I in the past thought could be worth testing, but after the experiences I described above with CryptoTab not paying me, this is no longer something I recommend investing in as the risks of losing money are then just even higher.
Can you use it on mobile?
CryptoTab can be used on mobile devices since it has an app you can download. The app is available for both Android and iOS devices.
It both has a free and a paid version. However, it is not a free app. You’d have to buy it from the respective app store.
The paid version is a cheap app (around $2.50), and it will make it easier and faster to earn from your phone than the free version.
However, whether it is a good idea to mine using your mobile device really depends on your device since it will require a lot of processing power, which can lead to your battery draining faster.
But if you have several mobile devices, you can also install it on the ones you do not use and just let it run in the background and earn like that without doing anything.
Who can use CryptoTab?
CryptoTab is available globally. You can download and install it on your device regardless of where you live.
Once you’ve installed the browser, you can sign up using your Google, Facebook, Twitter, or VK account. When you’ve signed in, you can start earning. You can set up your preferred mining speed, and you can also set up your payment details.
Can you get support?
If you ever need any assistance or if you have any questions about CryptoTab, you can refer to the FAQ page on their website first. It discusses all of the important topics you need to know about the browser.
But if you can’t find what you are looking for, you can get in touch with their support team by scrolling all the way down to the bottom of their website and clicking on the “Contact Support” link.
It will walk you through the troubleshooting process, and if it still isn’t resolved, you can submit your inquiry through the contact form the site will provide.
However, I have tried to get in contact with their support team and just got an automatic reply that referred back to their FAQ page.
As mentioned earlier, I, however, managed to get in contact with their support team about the payment I did not receive. But they never helped me resolve the issues and I still have not been paid and they have now stopper responding to my messages.
So, it can be difficult to get personal assistance if you should need that, and this is an aspect of CrypotoTab that could definitely be improved, in my opinion.
Final Verdict
CryptoTab is a browser that will allow you to earn Bitcoin by mining. It has a couple of good features, but it also has several drawbacks you need to factor in.
So, let me wrap up this review by summarizing its pros and cons to give you an overview of what it has to offer. That way, you can decide if this is really a good fit for you or not.

And if you do it correctly and install it on several devices, let it run as much as possible, invite friends, and potentially get their boost packages, it can be an easy way to earn my mining.
You just need to do it with the right expectations and not expect to get rich or anything like that. Also, you should definitely not accumulate too much before withdrawing. As you can read above, I seem to have lost quite a bit of money because they suddenly did not process my payments.
And the support is quite useless, in my opinion. Therefore, it is overall not worth your time, in my experience. I am not saying you cannot earn at all, but you should be aware of the risks explained in this review.
