Literally up until last night I had no problems, now I can't get any app or pay for any in app purchase unless I put in my password. My settings are all the same. I have a 15 pro. Always just click on the right for face recognition but not anymore. Any help would really be appreciated

I’ve found a solution that’s worked for me.
- Go into Face ID & Passcode
- disable everything in ‘Use Face ID for’
- Reset Face ID
- re-enable all Face ID settings
- Sign out of Apple ID and sign back in again.
- in Apple ID, Media & Purchases select Always Require Password and require password for free downloads.

If you enter your password can you then use face recognition? Most likely it is asking you to confirm the password to continue using facial recognition as a sign in option. I on occasion have to do this with the Store & my IDevices.
