Infamy (2024)

When the player reaches level 100 and has $20,000,000, they have the option to become a part of the criminal underground. They have a choice to become Infamous. When the player becomes Infamous, their level, weapons, skills and money are all reset in exchange for infamy perks. There are a total of 25 infamy levels. If you go infamous at infamy 5 (V) and above, all cash above $20,000,000 will be kept.

Infamous players have a roman numeral to the left of their reputation level, corresponding to their infamy level. This ranges from I (1) to XXV (25).

When going infamous, the music Hot Fizz by Teminite will be played.

The color/colour of the player's infamy level changes every five infamy levels:

• I-IV
• V-IX
• X-XIV
• XV-XIX
• XX-XXV

A special text is displayed upon going infamous, underneath the infamous card:

• I: "Welcome to the club. 1 level down, 24 to go!"
• V: "You're becoming a serious influence in the criminal underworld. Keep going!"
• X: "A rank worthy of hardened criminals. Show it with pride!"
• XV: "You are a true expert! How much farther can you go?"
• XX: "You've become a seasoned veteran who's seen their fair share of scores. You're so close, but can you do it?"
• XXV: "This is it, the Elite of the Elite. You did it! Your name will be recognized in the criminal underworld for years to come!"

Infamy Rewards[]

Infamy rewards include:

• Infamous Safe (Rewarded for every infamy level)
• Shades (Mask)
• XP Bonus ^(x8)
• Cash Bonus ^(x8)
• Permanent Skill Points ^(x8)

Infamous Safe: The infamous safe is an exclusive safe dropping 100% infamous masks being the rarest and most valuable. It may also drop masks that are not available in other safes and can be obtained 25 times through infamy. Additional infamous safes can be obtained by merging 10 diamond safes.

Shades Mask: The shades mask is a mask received as a reward for the player's first infamy. It is an infamous tier mask only being rewarded once and is usually the player's first infamous mask. It is, as the mask describes it, a pair of shades.

XP Bonus: An XP Bonus is the percentage increase of experience gained after each heist. With all the XP bonuses, the player gets a 60% increase to the experience gained after a heist.

Cash Bonus: A Cash Bonus is the percentage increase of cash gained after each heist. With all the cash bonuses, the player gets an 80% increase to the cash gained after a heist.

Permanent Skill Points: Permanent skill points are points that are retained after the player goes infamous. These are perks that retain a few skill points after infamy. The maximum amount of permanent skill points a player can get is 32.

Tip: Buying the Cheaper Infamy gamepass will lower the cost of increasing infamy from $20,000,000 to 10,000,000. This gamepass will also decrease the money taken away from $20,000,000 to $10,000,000 when you reach Infamy VI or above.

Bugs[]

• If you infamy past 25 because of a bug or glitch allowing you to, nothing will appear and your level just shows (-1). If this happens, you won't be able to talk or do any heists. Making your own will force you to rejoin, and joining other people's heists will glitch out. You will also receive a 'cursed' infamous safe. This safe will always give you the same mask every time you join the game. Everything else remains mostly unchanged.
• Sometimes the player does not receive infamy rewards such as the Shades Mask (I-L1) or the Infamy Safe.
