How long will my Instagram account be under review? ›

It should take about 24 hours to 3 days, according to most users. However, this is not standard as some users have reported; reviews may take up to a week or even months to process. The form is reviewed by an Instagram support officer, so the process isn't automated and can take some time.

Follow Requests: Some accounts use Instagram's “Request Review” feature, which allows them to review and approve or decline follow requests manually. This feature provides more control over who follows them.

Once we review your request, you'll receive a notification in Activity up to 30 days after applying letting you know if your account has been verified or not. You can tap in the top right to see notifications in Activity. If your request is denied, you can submit a new request again in 30 days.
