If you purchased PokéCoins from the Shop and don't see them in your inventory, please try restarting the app or signing out (tap Main Menu > Settings and select "Sign out.") and signing back in. If you still have any questions, please contact us.

If you wish to receive a refund for PokéCoins you purchased accidentally, please contact Apple Support (iOS users), Galaxy App Store (Samsung users), or Google Play Help (Android users) to review their respective refund policies, request a refund, or to inquire about a recent transaction.

Once you've reached the daily Defender bonus limit of 50 PokéCoins, you won't be able to earn any more PokéCoins by defending Gyms until the next day. If you have more than one Pokémon return from defending Gyms in a single day, the maximum bonus for the day is still limited to 50 PokéCoins.

If they defeat your Pokémon in the Gym Battle, your Pokémon will lose some CP. Once its CP has reached 0, it will return to you and bring the PokéCoins it has earned. You'll receive PokéCoins only after your Pokémon returns from the Gym, and you'll receive an in-game notification with the amount of PokéCoins earned.

There are some cases where PokéCoins may not appear available for purchase: Purchase restrictions are enabled - It's possible that you've enabled a setting on your device to prevent someone else (perhaps a child) from making a purchase.

For a successful return, you will need to provide your e-mail address that you used to make this purchase and your order number. Your order number can be located in your confirmation of purchase e-mail. Please allow approximately 2 weeks for the refund to be processed once your shipment is returned.

Can a merchant take back a refund? Merchants initiate a refund after a customer initiates a return or reports dissatisfaction with a product. There is no mechanism to reverse a refund.

PokeCoins are awarded only after your Pokemon returns to you. So, if your little champion is still holding the fort, those coins won't be jingling in your virtual pocket just yet.

The Short Answer to the 50 PokeCoin Limit

This limit isn't just a random decision by the developers. Think of it as a way to balance the in-game economy. With a cap in place, PokeCoins remain valuable and the temptation to farm them excessively is reduced.

Likely, your Electabuzz came back within 24 hours of someone else. When that happens, you get nothing. You only get coins when a Pokemon gets kicked out of the gym. You can only collect up to 50 coins in a day, regardless of how long that Pokemon was in the gym.
