Secondly, if the caller's number has been blocked, *69 will not provide any information beyond what is available through voicemail or other means.
To call back the last private number that called you – whether you answered it or not -- simply dial *69 and it will dial it back. It will also unmask the number, if it's been blocked from caller ID.
From the menu, select "Settings" or "Call Settings". Look for the "Blocked numbers" or "Call blocking" option and tap on it. You should see a list of blocked numbers or contacts. Find your own phone number in the list.To unblock your number, tap on it and select the option to unblock or remove it from the block list.
For Android, go to Settings > Call Settings > Additional Settings > Caller ID.Then, select Hide Number. Your calls will remain anonymous and you can bypass the blocked list.
For iPhone, go to Settings > Phone > Blocked Contacts > Edit. Then, unblock the number to allow calls from it again. For Android, including Samsung Galaxy models, go to Phone > More > Settings > Blocked numbers and delete the blocked number from the list.
When Your Number is Blocked: Using *67 won't make a difference if someone has already blocked your number. The call will still be blocked because the recipient has chosen not to receive calls from your number. Instead, it may forward your calls to voicemails.
If the number is not in your contacts and you removed it from the block list you will not be able to retrieve it, unless they message you again. However, you may be able to find it in your call log if you made any calls with them and haven't cleared it yet.
