Step 1 : Link your local Hong Kong bank account to your PayPal account.
- You must link your local bank account to your PayPal account in order to top up. The name on both your PayPal and bank accounts must match for the funds to go through, otherwise the top-up transaction will fail and your bank may impose a penalty charge on you.
- You may be asked to confirm your bank account after you’ve linked it. Although you don’t need to complete this in order to top up, we encourage you to do so to ensure your bank account is properly linked to your PayPal account.
Step 2 : Top up your PayPal account via online banking or bank branch.
