While the streaming service doesn't provide a direct student deal, you can take advantage of third-party offers.
While Back to School sales offer chances to save on standard supplies, clothing, and even electronics, these events aren't the only deal opportunities you should be watching for. If you're a student — or know one — also be aware of the different kinds of student discounts available. And one of the most prized types of student discounts has to be those on streaming services.
Students are hard-pressed for affordable entertainment options, and saving on things like a Hulu subscription can help ensure you're able to watch TV shows and movies without having to spend a fortune. But what about other services? Can you get a student discount on Disney Plus, which can be bundled with Hulu and other streaming options? How can you save on a Disney Plus subscription in general? Keep reading to find out.
Top Disney Plus Discounts
Disney+, Hulu, Max Bundle
Store: Disney+
Price: From $17 per month
Interested in the Disney+, Hulu, and Max streaming services? Get them bundled together at a discount. Opt for the ad-free tier, and you'll be saving $19 per month compared to paying for the services separately. Alternatively, the tier with ads saves you $9 in comparison. Besides the streaming services themselves, both plans get you access to select Hulu content via the Disney+ app, along with access to select HBO content in the Hulu app.
Disney+ Trio Bundle With ESPN+
Store: Disney+
Price: Basic for $15 per month; Premium for $25 per month
Get the ad-supported tier (Trio Basic) for $12 less than you'd pay for Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ separately. Or you can opt for the ad-free Trio Premium option for $24.99 month, which is $18 less than buying each service separately. (You can also sign up for bundles with just Hulu and Disney+, as well as bundles with Max instead of ESPN+.) ESPN+ gets you access to originals, live sports, daily studio shows, as well as exclusive articles on ESPN.com.
Disney+ Bundle With Hulu and ESPN+
Store: Verizon
Price: $10 per month with Verizon Fios Home Internet
Choose a Verizon Fios Home Internet plan — with prices from $35 a month — and tack on a Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle for just $10 per month. Streaming plans with these three services bundled together cost at least $15 a month on their own.

Does Disney Plus Offer a Student Discount?
Disney Plus doesn't offer a student discount — at least not directly. If you want student-focused savings, expect that you'll have to use a student discount site like Student Beans or UNiDAYS to take advantage of offers that may be live. At the time of publication, new users could get 15% off a 12-month Disney Plus subscription via these sites. But that offer could end at any time. And since it's not directly from Disney Plus, your success rate may be hit-and-miss.
Other Ways to Save on Disney Plus as a Student
Check for a Disney Plus Add-On Deal via Hulu
If you haven't already done so, consider signing up for Hulu first. Qualified users can take advantage of the Hulu Student Deal costing $1.99 a month, and then potentially get Disney Plus as an add-on at a discounted rate. Some users have reported being able to add Disney Plus for just $2 per month, though prices may also vary. Check for promotions like this through your Hulu account. If you try to sign up for a promotion through Disney Plus, you might forfeit other promotional pricing and could end up paying more in the long run.
Opt for a Disney Plus Bundle
Do you have more wiggle room? Then you can opt for a Hulu and Disney Plus bundle. If you can put up with ads, you can snag the duo for just $9.99 per month. That's only about 25% more than Disney Plus with ads alone! You can bundle the two services without ads, too; it'll cost you $19.99 per month to do so. Considering that Hulu alone with no ads is $17.99 per month and Disney Plus without ads is $13.99 per month, you're saving 37% overall for both services. The 37% savings applies to the with-ads bundle, too!

A Disney Plus, Hulu, and Max bundle is now available, too, and launched during the summer of 2024. You can sign up on any of the three sites. A with-ads version of the bundle costs $16.99 monthly, which is a 34% savings versus the price you'd pay every month for each service. A no-ads version is available, as well, though ads still show up in select content. For that plan, you'll pay $29.99 a month, saving you 38% compared to the regular monthly prices. Which Streaming Services Have Student Discounts?
If you can't take advantage of a Disney Plus student discount for some reason, then see if you're interested in other streaming services that do offer direct student discounts. These include Peaco*ck, Paramount Plus, and of course the aforementioned Hulu student discount.
