Hey, like the title asks, I'm wondering how to free the Ataashi in Trespasser. There's three rings of flame jets in the floor that keep it from exiting once you open the gates. There's no obvious way to move the cart that's blocking the outer ring, so I'm wondering what I need to do. Thanks. 75.142.148.152 (talk) 21:25, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Use your Anchor Discharge right next to the cart, that will blow it up. Other than that, get all the fire stuff on the right side of the rings in a symmetrical way when facing the main gate, at which point you should hear the Inquisitor saying you can open the gate now. --Liaison Shaw (talk) 21:44, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
I tried to free the dragon...but then I was about to get game over so.....yeah dragon had to go. --Elshiro (talk) 21:57, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
Does freeing the Ataashi actually do anything? Other than give you that badass cutscene? Or is freeing it something we'll have to address in DA4 as "it just so happens to coincidentally turn out (with zero premeditated planning on Bioware's part)" that the Darvaarad was in Seheron territory ankd we'll see it swoop down upon a group of Magisters? Basically, what happens if you kill it instead, since the narrative essentially encourages you away from that? RShepard227 (talk) 22:20, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
- Essentially, freeing the Ataashi does nothing immediate except turn it againsth Darvaarad. Otherwise, its likely that Ataashi will return with sisyers as the inquisitors pets/new-bestest-friends.
Anyway, What Shaw said. I literally spent about 15 minutes failing to break the cart with a sword before I realised I had a new mark ability. Then i lined up the fire. Tip, start with the farthest ring first, then line the middle one up, then the inner one, otherwise you'll make the same mistake as me and mess up the ring even more. 22:27, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
Okay, my problem was that I was trying to use fire spells on the cart. I'll try again using the Anchor Bomb. Thanks, everybody. 75.142.148.152 (talk) 22:35, September 17, 2015 (UTC)
I never bothered with the left and middle control wheels. It's enough to focus on turning the outermost ring until the Inquisitor or a companion says the flames are in place. 107.213.56.132 (talk) 01:48, September 18, 2015 (UTC)
