Most of the browsers do not support TLS 1.0, they usually support TLS 1.2. And there are obvious reasons for the same as TLS 1.0 is not very secured. So, since it is not used, disabling the protocol is a wise choice and in this post, we are going to see how to do the same.

1] By Internet Properties
The easiest way to disable TLS 1.0 is via Internet Properties. So, to disable this protocol follow the given steps.
- Search outInternet Optionsfrom the Start Menu.
- Go to the Advancedtab.
- Scroll down a bit and from the Securitysection, untick Use TLS 1.0,and clickApply > Ok.
This way, you have disabled TLS 1.0 on your system.

2] By Registry Editor
To disable the protocol by Registry Editor, launchRegistry Editorfrom the Start Menu and navigate to the following location.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\SecurityProviders\SCHANNEL\Protocols
Right-click onProtocol, selectNew > Key, and name it “TLS 1.0″.Now, right-click onTLS 1.0,selectNew > Key, and name it “Client”.
Right-click onClient,selectNew > DWORD (32-bit) Value,and name it “Enabled”. Now, since the default value ofEnabledis0,TLS 1.0 will be disabled. However, if you want to enable the protocol, just change theValue datato1.
This way, you have disabled TLS 1.0 on your computer.
