Now that you are connected to the BSC testnet network, you need some funds for your wallet. Go to the following link to start the process: https://testnet.binance.org/faucet-smart
Bring up your MetaMask extension and click on your wallet address/account name. This will copy your wallet address to the clipboard for you to paste into the box on the faucet screen.
Make sure you claim some BNB and also BUSD in ‘peggy tokens’ so that you have a range of tokens to play around with in the testnet. Keep in mind each wallet can only claim from the faucet once per time period which increases each time you use it. So you might want to come back a few times if you would like all the tokens. When finished, click on the MetaMask extension to confirm you have received the funds.
You will notice BNB shows up here but some other tokens may not. If they do not you need to click “Add Token”
You will then need to click on the “Custom Token” tab and enter the token’s contract details, then click “Next” followed by “Add Tokens”.
BUSD token contract details are as follows:
Token Contract Address: Check transaction in explorer. Look for the symbol name, ie BUSD. Click it and then copy the contract address.
Token Symbol: BUSD
Decimals of Precision: 18
You can find the details for other tokens atBSCScanTestnet, reach out if you would like assistance locating them
Once you've set up your MetaMask wallet, you can use it to connect to Core Testnet by adding Core Testnet's chain details in MetaMask's network settings. Navigate to Settings->Networks in MetaMask and click the Add Network button.Input the following information:Network Name: Core Blockchain TestNet.
To add BNB Chain, open your MetaMask wallet, navigate to Settings > Networks, and select 'Add Network.' Enter the following details: Network Name: BNB Chain. New RPC URL: https://bsc-dataseed.binance.org/
What is BSC Testnet. The testnet is a test environment for Binance Chain network, run by the Binance Chain development community, which is open to developers.
The Binance Smart Chain, which supports several blockchains and is compatible with the EVM, is known simply as BNB Smart Chain, still abbreviated as BSC. That said, together with BSC, the BNB chain has a dynamic ecosystem of its own.
BEP20 is a token standard created on BNB Smartchain , also known as Binance Smart Chain or simply BSC. BEP-20 is the BSC equivalent of ERC-20 , which is the token model used on the Ethereum blockchain. This means that the two token models are compatible with each other.
BEP20 is a token standard on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), similar to the ERC20 standard on the Ethereum blockchain. A BEP20 address is a unique identifier to receive, store, and send BEP20 tokens on the Binance Smart Chain.

To add BUSD, first, find the official contract address for BUSD on the desired blockchain. Then, add this address to your MetaMask wallet. This ensures you are dealing with the genuine BUSD token. Once added, you can manage your BUSD tokens in MetaMask securely and efficiently.
