Buying cryptocurrency with Wirex is easy and can be done using the ‘Exchange’ feature. This feature allows you to buy and sell supported cryptocurrencies, convert your traditional currencies to crypto or back, and even top up your Wirex cards.
To get started, follow these steps:
- Log in to your Wirex account and select the account you want to exchange from. Then, click on "Exchange" on the left-hand side of the screen or tap the Exchange icon on the tab bar in the mobile app
- In the "From" field, select the source account that you want to exchange from. This can be a cryptocurrency account or a traditional currency account.
- In the "To" field, select the target account that you want to exchange to. This can be a crypto account or a traditional currency account.
- Enter the amount you want to exchange, either the source currency or the destination. To calculate the maximum amount available for the transaction, click on "Use maximum amount" (or "Max" in the mobile app).
- Finally, click on "Exchange", review the transaction details, and click "Confirm".
And that's it! Your cryptocurrency purchase will be processed and added to your account balance. Remember, always double-check your transaction details before confirming your exchange, as all confirmed buys, sells, deposits, and withdrawals on Wirex are final.
