This guide will explain how to bring your assets, including stablecoins (USDC and USDT) onto the Fantom Opera chain.

You can find the Bridge section on the top menu of the Equalizer dApp.
These are two options from which you can choose:
1. Squid (uses Axelar tech)
Using Squid is a hassle-free process. Just select the chain you’re currently connected on, pick the asset you want to bridge from, then select the Fantom network and the asset you want to receive.
You can either bridge the same tokens (i.e. USDC → axlUSDC) OR do a cross-chain swap (i.e. USDC -> any Fantom native token including EQUAL).
Grant Squid’s contracts permission to use your funds and then simply proceed with the transfer.
Transactions usually take just a few minutes to complete. You can follow the status in real time.
✨Pro Tip: If you do not have any FTM for gas, you can request Squid to convert a small portion of your funds (approx. $2 worth) into FTM on arrival!

2. Stargate (uses LayerZero tech)
Stargate provides a user-friendly interface, ensuring a seamless and engaging bridging experience. You just have to choose the origin and destination chains, along with the tokens you’d like to bridge.
When ready, just click on Transfer, grant token allowance and then confirm the transfer. The whole process usually takes just a few minutes.
✨Stargate also allows you to request gas on arrival, in case you do not have any FTM. You have the option to request a custom amount of tokens by following the steps below:
