You can pin an image of your own (not from Amazon). Repins are ok from the original pin. For this blog post, we discuss links on your website and pins. There are now different types of pins. All “pins” are now under one name. No more idea pins, video pins, etc. they are called just pins. In this article, I am talking about the “new”pins.

- Create a post or page with Amazon products (you can use Amazon product photos on your site but not Pinterest), but make sure to follow the rules to credit sources and link to them.
- Pin the image from your site, or add it manually in Pinterest, and paste your affiliate link in the corresponding link box. See the example below from the desktop version.

Buyable pins and shoppable pins are two different things. Shopify or other eCommerce shops can add their catalogs, which can be found in the shop tabs now.
