There are five ways to access the Device Manager:
- Method 1: Right-click the Start button or press the Windows Logo + X key combination on the keyboard and, from the list, click to select Device Manager.
- Method 2: On the taskbar, in the Search field next to the Start button, type Device Manager and then press the Enter key.
- Method 3:
- Click the (Start) button.
- In the Start Menu, click Settings.
- In theSETTINGS window, click Devices.
- In the DEVICES screen, click Printers & scanners or Connected devices, and under the Related Settings category, click Device manager.
- Method 4:
- Right-click the Start button or press the Windows Logo + X key combination on the keyboard and, from the list, click Control Panel.
- In the Control Panel window, click Device Manager.
Method 5: One really easy way to start the Device Manager in any version of Windows is from the Command Prompt. Just open the Command Prompt and type devmgmt.msc
