If You Have 1 Day

See the famous CN Tower. Enjoy the breath-taking views from the summit, and don’t miss the 360 Restaurant for lunch, where you can savour a rotating perspective of Toronto. After that, take a dive into the mysteries of the ocean at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada, which is ideally situated near the foot of the CN Tower. Take a leisurely stroll along Harbourfront Centre as the day comes to an end and take in the breathtaking vistas of Lake Ontario. For a wonderful dinner to round off the day, visit one of the seafood restaurants, such as Rodney’s Oyster House or Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill.

If You Have 2 to 3 Days

On your first day, see the traditional tourist attractions; you may even choose to take a hop-on, hop-off bus tour. Explore the historic Chinatown in the morning of Day 2, which is located westward along Dundas Street behind the new City Hall and ends at the bustling crossroads of Spadina Avenue and Dundas Street. The vibrant sights and aromas of Kensington Market will also be close by. Take Spadina south for five short blocks to Queen Street West, then turn left to explore a hip and fashionable shopping area.

On Day 3 you can visit Yorkville, which is close by and to the north, where streets of boutiques housed inside renovated former Victorian homes alternate with contemporary stores covered in chrome and glass

This museum is filled with treasures from the fields of science, art, and archaeology; allow two to four hours to spend there. There are two things you can do to unwind in the afternoon. The first is to ride the Yonge subway south and walk to the docks at the base of Bay Street and Queen’s Quay, where you can take a ferry to the tranquil Toronto Islands. A bonus is that you can also enjoy a view of the city skyline. You can also travel 6 km (4 mi) due west of Bloor and Yonge streets (take the subway west to the High Park station and stroll south) to huge, picturesque High Park. In the evening, take in a show or a concert — Toronto is a terrific city for theater and music.
