I prepared the package for shipment myself and the pull strips on both packages were intact. He says he's going to return for a full refund. He hasn't yet opened a case with eBay for return. It's just my word against his. I contacted eBay so my statement would be documented.
Just a word of warning, if the buyer DOES file the Return Request through Ebay within 30 days after delivery, your statement will not prevent the buyer from obtaining a refund if you do not agree to the Return Request. They will be able to escalate to Ebay which will issue the refund out of your funds, let the buyer keep the item and issue a defect on your account.
