To restart a game, simply force quit the application and launch it again.
Reinstalling a game may be trickier. Please follow these steps to avoid losing your game progress:
Make sure your game is connected to your Facebook account. Please note that we do not recommend connecting more than one Facebook account to the game since it may interfere with saving your progress.
Go to Settings > Apps, choose the game you wish to reinstall, and tap Delete.
Restart your device.
Go to the Google Play Store and download the app again.
Make sure to check that you have a stable internet connection before you launch the game. Keep in mind that Wi-Fi networks are generally more stable than mobile networks.
Once you launch the game, you'll see a pop-up window with an option to load your game progress. Confirm your choice and enjoy the game! :)

Some games autosave your progress when you're signed in with Google Play Games Mobile App. If your game autosaves, you can sync your game data and pick up where you left off. If you get a new Android phone, to restore game progress, sign in to the same account you used before.
Log into Game Center using the email address you originally linked to your account. To do that, go to Settings > Game Center > Apple ID.2.After you log into Game Center using the right Apple ID and open the game, you'll be prompted to load the existing progress.
It's also possible the app data is corrupted, so try to delete the data and clear the cache and try opening the app again. If that doesn't work, delete the app from the phone (or uninstall the app updates) and reinstall the app again from the Google Play app store.
Navigate to Game Settings: Open the game and head to its settings. Search for options like 'Storage', 'Manage Data', or 'Game Reset'. Select Data Deletion Option: Within these settings, you'll find the option to delete or reset your game data.
Switch between multiple Play Games profiles with Android settings
On your Android phone, tap Settings. Google.
Tap All services.
Tap Settings for Google apps Play Games. Sign in account. To change default profile for games: Under the “Change the default account for games” section, tap Change.
