In the modern world, gaining rapid control over a vast amount of funds is more achievable for powerful individuals compared to obtaining the necessary computing power required by the PoW mechanism, still used by the Bitcoin blockchain.

2 Challenges of PoS
Despite its benefits, PoS also faces some challenges and limitations that affect its energy efficiency. One of the main challenges is the security and fairness of the validator selection process, which determines who gets to validate the next block and receive the rewards. If the selection is based on the amount of stake, it may favor the rich and create a wealth gap. If the selection is based on randomness, it may introduce uncertainty and unpredictability. I believe if we could find a solution both combining the "amount of stake" and "randomness" that could resolve the issue but will be a very challenging one.

Both PoS and PoW can be insecure if the blockchain has limited popularity. In PoS, a "whale" with a lot of money could perform a 51% attack, while in a PoW blockchain, the same may happen if someone buys enough hardware to break the consensus mechanism. Therefore, it should be clear that neither consensus mechanism is 100% secure for small networks.

3 Best practices of PoS

Instead of think about energy efficiency when there's a need for consensus and we are using an algorithm for this purpose on any given decentralized computation data array, let's focus on doing the same thing with less, where less can be done with direct and indirect actions.Proposal:-Fix and improve the carbon credit market. We use oracles to decide how much carbon credit will be tokenized.
