Where can I find help and training in Salesforce? ›

Click the "Help & Training" link that's available in the top right hand corner or header. Note: If users are setup to Enable the Global Header for Communities the "Help & Training" link is found in the Your Name menu's drop down.

You can create a customer portal using the Customer Account Portal Lightning template in Experience Builder. Existing orgs using Customer Portal licenses may continue to use their licenses. When you first save a Customer Portal or partner portal, Salesforce automatically displays the Convert Portal User Access wizard.

What are community users in Salesforce? Firstly, they are external users who can access your community. You can assign the required permissions to the community users to access records.

Creating Community Users from Contacts

Create a new business contact and assign it an account or go to Contacts and choose an existing contact. Click on Manage External User and choose Enable Customer User.

Currently only users with the 'Salesforce' license types can create support cases in the Help portal. Additionally, these license types are required in order for a user to be added as a Case Collaborator on an existing case.
