In an August 2023 report, around 77% of crypto owners in the U.S. said they own Bitcoin. That's 1% lower than the global bitcoin adoption rates (37%)(2).

Individuals in the U.S. aged 18-34 make up 61% of cryptocurrency owners. Those aged 55+ are the age group least likely to own crypto, and they make up only 9% of crypto owners.
