The generate keyword places an RSA host key pair in the flash memory and enables SSH on the device, if it is not already enabled.
The optional [modulus modulus-size ] parameter specifies the modulus size of the RSA key pair, in bits. The valid values for modulus-size are 1024 or 2048. The default value is 1024.
The zeroize keyword deletes the RSA host key pair from the flash memory. This disables SSH if no other authentication keys exist on the device.
To delete the local key pair, run rsa local-key-pair destroy command. If the host key pair and the service key pair of an SSH server are deleted, run the rsa local-key-pair create command to create the new host key pair and service key pair for the SSH server.
$ ssh-keygen Generating public/private rsa key pair. Enter file in which to save the key (/home/example/. ssh/id_rsa): Enter passphrase (empty for no passphrase): Enter same passphrase again: Your identification has been saved in /home/example/. ssh/id_rsa.
An RSA key pair consists of a public key and a private key used in asymmetric cryptography. The keys are generated using prime numbers, and the security relies on the difficulty of factoring large composite numbers. The public key is used for encryption, while the private key is used for decryption.
It takes approximately 5 seconds to generate a 1024-bit-length RSA key pair, then encrypt and decrypt the random message. This time can vary for each execution.
In Online Banking for Business, click the Administration tab and under “Settings” select My Profile. At the bottom of the page, choose Create SecurID PIN. Then Select Set up RSA SecurID and follow the steps provided. If you've been assigned multiple tokens, you'll be prompted to choose the one you want to set up now.
To delete the local key pair, run rsa local-key-pair destroy command. If the host key pair and the service key pair of an SSH server are deleted, run the rsa local-key-pair create command to create the new host key pair and service key pair for the SSH server.
After your inactive SSH key is deleted, you must generate a new SSH key and associate it with your account. For more information, see "Generating a new SSH key and adding it to the ssh-agent" and "Adding a new SSH key to your GitHub account."
In the Security Console, click Authentication > Risk-Based Authentication > Manage Enabled Users. Use the search fields to find the user whose device history that you want to delete. Click the user, and click Delete Device History. Click OK to confirm the deletion.
