No. The Recharger Prepaid Sub-meter draws its electricity supply directly from the Municipal/ Eskom meter. The private sub-meter does not replace the main Municipality/Eskom meter.The primary electricity supplier is Eskom / Municipality; hence the Landlord will still receive an electricity bill.

A qualified electrician will install the meter within a day. Once the registration form is completed and sent to Recharger with the documents required, it will be processed and you will receive an SMS to notify you that your meter is activated.
Recharger Pre-paid vouchers are valid for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase.
