I've flown the Avata many times at night. Just be sure that your takeoff/landing area has some sort of light. Low to no light will make for an interesting landing.
I have many joke ideas in the pipeline for this drone and some serious ones.
It would be great for a security system as it is loud as hell and put a million candle power LED on a go pro mount, mount that rig inside a outdoor enclosure - launch on motion detection at night......
Whomever is lurking around at night then will be getting out of there I guarantee it if you swarm them with this rig. I would even want another one with a loud speaker on the same go pro mount - the twins would chase an intruder away as I would guess its intimidating as heck so loud at night
That's going to be the problem, the neighbors are not going to like the buzzing around the lighted course of hoops at night...... buzzy till 9 PM
Now that being said PM me the address I will be right over as that sounds like crazy fun when done safely.
